SK Telecom, LG Telecom Team Up on T-PAK Platform

On July 11, 2007, Korea's SK Telecom and LG Telecom jointly announced an agreement, whereby LG Telecom will be able to utilize T-PAK, a mobile phone UI (User Interface) platform package developed by SK Telecom. SK Telecom and LG Telecom will jointly oversee the adjustment of T-Pak specifications. Also, the two companies are planning to launch the first T-PAK-based mobile phone by the second quarter of 2008.
